Beleid juridische intake, betaling en annulering
Dit beleid geldt voor de persoonlijke juridische intake van de Sousa Advocaten, zowel wanneer u online betaalt als wanneer u op het kantoor betaalt.
1. Wat de intake omvat
De intake is een betaalde afspraak waarin u uw situatie met de advocaat bespreekt. Vooraf kan de digitale assistent informatie verzamelen en ordenen. De advocaat beoordeelt daarna persoonlijk uw situatie en bepaalt of en hoe het kantoor u verder kan bijstaan.
De intake is geen garantie dat het kantoor uw zaak aanneemt, dat verdere rechtsbijstand wordt verleend of dat een bepaald resultaat wordt behaald. De betaling brengt op zichzelf geen advocaat-cliëntrelatie tot stand.
2. Intakebedrag
Het door het kantoor gepubliceerde intakebedrag bedraagt momenteel AWG 250. Het kantoor kan dit bedrag wijzigen; het bedrag dat vóór uw afspraak wordt getoond, is het bedrag dat voor die intake geldt.
3. Online betaling
Bij online betaling wordt uw afspraak na een geslaagde betaling en bevestiging in het systeem vastgelegd. Omdat de tijd van de advocaat voor u wordt gereserveerd en de intakevoorbereiding kan beginnen, is het intakebedrag vanaf dat moment niet terugbetaalbaar, voor zover de wet dit toestaat.
4. Betaling op kantoor
U kunt het intakebedrag ook op het kantoor betalen, volgens de daar aangeboden betaalmethode. Zodra de betaling is ontvangen en de intakeafspraak is vastgelegd, geldt hetzelfde: het intakebedrag is niet terugbetaalbaar, voor zover de wet dit toestaat.
5. Annuleren, verplaatsen en niet verschijnen
- Een verandering van gedachten, een late annulering of het niet verschijnen op de afspraak geeft geen recht op terugbetaling.
- U kunt zo snel mogelijk contact opnemen om een andere afspraak te vragen. Het kantoor kan een afspraak naar eigen inzicht verplaatsen, afhankelijk van de beschikbare agenda.
- Een verplaatsing is geen terugbetaling en is niet gegarandeerd. Een nieuwe afspraak kan aanvullende voorwaarden hebben.
6. Annulering door het kantoor en dwingend recht
Als het kantoor een afspraak annuleert en geen redelijke alternatieve afspraak kan aanbieden, neemt u contact op met het kantoor zodat de situatie afzonderlijk kan worden beoordeeld. Niets in dit beleid beperkt rechten waarvan volgens toepasselijk Arubaans recht niet mag worden afgeweken.

Legal intake, payment and cancellation policy
This policy applies to the personal legal intake provided by de Sousa Advocaten, whether you pay online or at the office.
What the intake includes
The intake is a paid appointment in which you discuss your situation with the lawyer. A digital assistant may collect and organize information beforehand. The lawyer will then personally assess your situation and decide whether and how the firm can assist you.
The intake does not guarantee that the firm will accept your matter, provide further representation, or achieve a particular result. Payment alone does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Fee and online payment
The published intake fee is currently AWG 250. The office may change the fee; the amount displayed before your appointment is the amount that applies to that intake.
After a successful online payment and confirmation, the appointment is recorded. Because the lawyer’s time is reserved for you and preparation may begin, the intake fee is non-refundable from that point, to the extent permitted by law.
Payment at the office
You may also pay at the office using an available payment method. Once payment has been received and the intake appointment has been recorded, the same non-refundable rule applies, to the extent permitted by law.
Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows
A change of mind, late cancellation, or failure to attend does not create a right to a refund. You may contact the office as soon as possible to request another appointment. Rescheduling depends on availability and is not guaranteed.
Office cancellation and mandatory rights
If the office cancels and cannot offer a reasonable alternative appointment, contact the office so the situation can be reviewed individually. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable Aruban law.

Política de consulta legal, pago y cancelación
Esta política se aplica a la consulta legal personal de de Sousa Advocaten, tanto si paga en línea como si paga en la oficina.
Qué incluye la consulta
La consulta es una cita pagada en la que usted conversa sobre su situación con la abogada. Un asistente digital puede recopilar y organizar información antes de la cita. La abogada evaluará personalmente su situación y decidirá si el despacho puede ayudarle y de qué manera.
La consulta no garantiza que el despacho acepte el asunto, que se brinde representación adicional ni que se obtenga un resultado determinado. El pago por sí solo no crea una relación abogado-cliente.
Tarifa y pago en línea
La tarifa publicada de la consulta es actualmente de AWG 250. La oficina puede modificarla; se aplica el importe que se muestre antes de confirmar la cita.
Después de un pago en línea exitoso y la confirmación, la cita queda registrada. Como se reserva el tiempo de la abogada y puede comenzar la preparación, la tarifa no es reembolsable desde ese momento, en la medida permitida por la ley.
Pago en la oficina
También puede pagar en la oficina mediante el método disponible. Una vez recibido el pago y registrada la cita, se aplica la misma regla de no reembolso, en la medida permitida por la ley.
Cancelaciones, cambios y ausencia
Cambiar de opinión, cancelar tarde o no presentarse no genera derecho a reembolso. Puede comunicarse con la oficina lo antes posible para solicitar otra cita. El cambio depende de la disponibilidad y no está garantizado.
Cancelación por la oficina y derechos obligatorios
Si la oficina cancela la cita y no puede ofrecer una alternativa razonable, comuníquese con la oficina para revisar la situación individualmente. Nada de esta política limita los derechos que no pueden renunciarse conforme a la ley aplicable de Aruba.
